Wayne County is strategically located midway between Rochester and Syracuse just north of the New York State Thruway (I-90). Within 20 minutes you can drive from a picturesque country setting to the heart of each of these upstate cities, realizing the best in both urban and rural benefits from a Wayne County location. You'll also benefit from the ready access you will have to the rest of the U.S., Canada, and world beyond with whatever mode of transportation you choose:

Air
Wherever you may be in Wayne County, you are just 30 minutes away from a major airport. The Greater Rochester International Airport and the Hancock International Airport in Syracuse provide convenient access through commercial carriers. This service is supplemented by many general aviation airports in the region.

Land
Major highways in or near Wayne County include the NYS Thruway (I-90) which provides quick east-west access. To the west lies Buffalo and Canada. Points east lead to and from Albany, New England, and New York City. Paralleling the Thruway is Route. 104 to the north, and Route. 31 to the south.

Rail
Access is assured through CSX mainline service and the Ontario Midland short line.

Sea
Wayne County businesses can also turn to the Port of Oswego and Erie Canal which again provides access to Canadian markets as well as those to the east and west.
